BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate aka Cobra Tate has become one of the most talked about names, thanks to his outspoken personality. The kickboxer turned influencer once revealed the meaning behind his moniker, 'Top G'.

The influencer has built a narrative around him which makes him seem a step above the rest. And with his active presence on 'X', he has managed to garner millions of followers, especially among GenZ.

Tate defines the meaning of 'Top G'

The origin of Andrew Tate's nickname, 'Top G' as he is known to his fan base, started to come to light through TikTok where clips of his controversial statements went viral.

Based on a video clip posted by TateShorts on YouTube shorts, Andrew's younger brother, Tristan Tate, questioned him, asking, “I wanna be a Top G, I wanna be the Top G, explain a little bit what you mean by Top G?”

Andrew Tate replied, “Top G is an individual who is capable in all realms as my father said.” He added, “Sheer indefatigability and unmatched perspicacity made him a feared opponent in all realms of human endeavor.”

"When you are a 'Top G', you need to be dangerous at everything. That's why I'm Top G," he claimed.

Tate then cited examples, saying, "If they were to say to you, you have to go on a racetrack and race Tate in supercars, you'd be like 's**t, I've to race Tate.' You've to go in the boxing ring and fight Tate, 's**t, I've to fight Tate.' You have to go debate Tate, 's**t I've to debate Tate.'"

He added, "It doesn't matter what the competition is. As soon as they same my name, you're gonna be like 'Oh for f**k's sake. You add all this together, I am a feared opponent in any realm of human endeavor, even things I don't know yet. You do not want to compete with me in those things."

Tate then concludes the video by saying, "That's why I am Top G."
