Very sad. There has been lots of speculation over the years and it seems that no one fully knows... but she definitely was/is a huge alcoholic and cokehead so I have to imagine that's at least part of the story. Either way she's in such a state that even a site like DM is stooping low in publishing photos of her. She's obviously very sick and is not seeking attention.

She was so beautiful in Twin Peaks. I never understood why she started with fillers. And now she does look like she is ill and/or on meds.

The DM does published photos of her every few years. I feel bad for her, she doesn't want the attention for obvious reasons. She must have a medical problem because that is not normal aging.

She's obviously ill and has been for a while. She had noticeable plastic surgery already, but right around 2009 she started getting the bloated face and torso of someone who is on steroids. It was right around then that she stopped working, too. The two things she's done since then involved a lot of makeup and costuming, and were very small roles.

The fish lips are injections. I’ve never heard of a person on steroids that only gains weight on their torso and face, but not the legs. Her legs look anorexic.

It looks like maybe she had a chin implant years ago and it had to be removed, which implies lupus or rheumatoid arthritis or some other auto immune disease. Maybe her body rejected the implant? I don’t know anything about them. Fish lips are permanent and I don’t think they can be gotten rid of. I’m guessing some type of bad auto immune disorder that led to chronic pain that led to alcoholism. If that’s it, she has a lot of fillers and I don’t think there’s a way to get rid of it.

The alcoholism is a leftover-slash-continuation of the addiction craziness she descended to in the Nicholson years. She became an animal, just about.
