Matthew Paritz Obituary, Death – The late Lee and Mary Nell Brown of Selmer, TN had Robert Earl Brown on Sunday, August 3, 1952. I attended Old McNairy County School and McNairy Central High School as a child. I bravely helped my parents with my siblings as a teenager. Later in life, I worked numerous McNairy County occupations. For years, I self-washed and detailed cars at Selmer Classic Cars.
I worked with my brother at “Brown Brothers Lawn Service” and detailed Selmer Classic Cars until my health declined during my five-year battle with cancer. Washing vehicles, mowing yards, and visiting family and friends were my pastimes. I enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart® with my granddaughter Ja’Liyah and for myself. I was tired on my journey, therefore God summoned me to paradise early on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
Two brothers, Vernord and Stanley Brown, two grandsons, Jaylan and Ja’Nese Phinnessee, two nieces, Debbie Love and Marsha Nell Brown, and both paternal and maternal grandparents predeceased me. I leave to cherish my memory: my son, Delbert Colburn of Fulton, MS; my daughter, Brittany Brown of Bethel Springs, TN; my grandson, Artavius Colburn of Tupelo,
